Recording rules decide exactly which meetings on your calendar the bot joins, and which ones it skips.
Open Settings, then Meeting Recorder. Under Calendar recording rules, choose whether the bot records external meetings, internal meetings, or both.
A meeting counts as internal when every attendee matches one of your internal domains. Click Manage to edit that list.
To skip some meetings every time, go to Never record and click Add rule. Match an attendee's email or domain, or words in the event title or description.
Say the title contains Interview. The bot now skips every interview, even when the rules above would record it.
Open Advanced timing. Bot join threshold sets how many minutes early the bot joins. Match window sets how far a recording can drift from its scheduled time and still link to the event.
Under Organization recorder, Participant video while screen sharing picks where faces go. Hide shows only the screen. Beside puts faces next to it. Overlap floats them on top.
Each change saves as soon as you make it. Only admins can change the workspace rules.
